Recruitment of Clerical Staff for the Mission of Japan to ASEAN

The Mission of Japan to ASEAN in Jakarta is recruiting 1 (one) local staff for position of “Clerical Staff”.Anyone who is eligible is welcome to apply by sending the necessary documents to the email address below not later than 12 November 2012.

Please note that the Mission of Japan will not confirmthe receipt of the application by replying to the applicant’s email.

Recruitment of a Clerical Staff (Working in English)
  (1) Job Specifications
  a) Translating documents, writing letters
  b) Other clerical work

  *Please note that there might be a change of sections inside the Mission in the future.

  (2) Number of vacancy
    1 (one)

  (3) Qualification Requirements
  a) Indonesian citizen or permanent resident of Indonesia.
  b) Fluent in English (capable of communicating and writing documents in English)
  c) College-educated or higher qualification holders
  d) Capable of using computers (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)
  e) A good command over the Japanese Language is highly desirable.

  (4) Terms of Employment
  a) Working venue is the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, Jl. M.H. Thamrin, No. 24, Jakarta 10350
  b) Basic working hours are from 08:15 to 16:00, Mon. – Fri. excluding the holidays of the Mission (Lunch break: 12:30 – 13:15)
  c) Salary will be decided based on the certain standards in Jakarta and will be paid in IDR which will be exchanged from USD.
  d) It’s required to start working immediately after the contract is signed.

  (5) Period for the submission of application
    From29 October to 12 November 2012

  (7) Selection Process
  After receiving application documents by email, the Mission will select the candidates in the following procedures;
  a) Those who pass the initial document screening will be invited to come to the Mission for a written test (document preparation in English) and an interview.
  b) Considering the results of document screening and of the written test/interview, the Mission will select 1 (one) person who is considered to be appropriate for a local staff of the Mission
  *Please note that the Mission of Japan will NOT contact those who cannot pass the initial document screening. The Mission will inform those who cannot pass the written test/interview of the result by email or by telephone.
